not actually capable of crying or blushing or other biological functions, though he is mysteriously able to sweat and bleed. human foods will normally go right through him. does not require sleep (Papyrus apparently doesn't) tho he loves to do so and is practically narcoleptic. he gets tired easily, i.e. in his bossfight.

backstory-wise I kinda like this headcanon re: gaster/papyrus/timeline shit but lmao he'd hardly confirm/confide anything so IT IS A MYSTERY.

he is LV 1 and has 0 EXP. he's a pacifist. Toriel may have asked him to protect some of the previous fallen children, but he failed. re: "you'd be dead where you stand" --despite everything, he's willing to murder the protagonist because they're dangerous and can potentially destroy the timeline, not because they're human. but he doesn't attack them due to that promise and the knowledge that it's all going to be reset. except in the worst-case scenario, anyway.
